You need to register your email and create a password in the LAUSD Parent Portal in order to get a Daily Pass.
How do I get on the LAUSD Parent Portal and WHY?
You need to register your email and create a password in the LAUSD Parent Portal in order to get a Daily Pass.
- In order to receive updated information from your school and the district, go onto the Parent Portal (https://parentportal.lausd.net/) to make sure your information is up-to-date.
- You will also be able to see your student's grades and attendance as well as be able to update your Emergency Contact Information.
- You will also need this when you apply to magnet middle schools, affiliated charters, or other middle schools on eChoices.lausd.net.
- To link your child to your account, you need to have his or her Student ID and your parent PIN associated with him or her.
Daily Pass: dailypass.lausd.net
Students and families will be required to use the Daily Pass every day to check in to campus.

- Use your Parent Portal and password login on the Daily Pass.
- Your students must be linked to you on the Parent Portal in order for them to appear in your Daily Pass.
- TAKE A SCREENSHOT OR PHOTO of your Daily Pass at home to save time. Make sure your student's name, the date, and the whole QR code appears in the photo.
